FRANK: PRE-Y2K

First off, let me remind you that I was born in the 1900's so the way thing are today technology-wise was unpredictable. We thought it was cool to have a pager. I  learned how to use a computer on a Mac286 during the late night shift at Kinko's in Seattle's University district. So, let's step back... into the "way back" machine.
In a previous life (1982ish) I published and
Underground fanzine, traveled and toured Alaska as an "Artist in Residence and with a comedy troupe, Social Circumstances, produced events for corporate organizations, and as an onscreen persona known as Bill Bored I was the first guy to put a punk rock music video program on regional broadcast television ('87).

A brief history to catch you up...10 years prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, I had been doing marketing for a non-profit performance arts organization and marrying secular couples of all genders as a certified Humanist Celebrant with the Humanist Society. When the lock-down was implemented in 2020, live performances and weddings were cancelled... Basically, everything I was involved in came to a screeching halt.

I used the down time to digitize a television series I produced in the 80’s, Bombshelter Videos (1984-93) and scan into a PDF format WARNING Fanzine, an underground music fanzine I had published from 1982-85. And, since retiring the TV series (pre-email) it began to be rediscovered on YouTube by old fans and the next generation of fans. People started asking for merch. I tracked down some old graphics and thanks to the current technology I created a print on demand apparel store. It was inspiring it currently has more than 400 designs listed under more than a dozen different collections of graphic concepts. Lucha Libra, Flag Football, Make Art Not War and Due to the demand, merch was expanded to adding my graphics on skateboard decks, greeting cards and stickers.
